假设你想要一个6英寸的白面包三明治,可以说:

I’d like a 6-inch wheat bread sandwich.

如果你的英语不是很好,看到这个句子可能会觉得很复杂,但其实想要会点三明治,大家可以套用一个公式:

三明治=尺寸+面包+蔬菜/肉类/鸡蛋+调料/酱汁

现在我们分开来为大家讲解。

①三明治的尺寸

很多三明治都有两个尺寸,一个是12 inch长的面包,可以叫做1 foot long(1 foot=12 inch)或big size;还有一个就是 *** all size,即6 inch长(相当于15.24厘米)。

① 咖啡

点咖啡的时候,我们同样可以记住一个小“公式”:

一杯咖啡 = 杯子大小+咖啡种类+牛奶种类+在店里/外带

(1)杯子的大小

形容杯子的大小,我们可以这样说:

  • Small(小杯)

首先,我们可以主动运用公式点咖啡:

例子:

再来说说奶茶,也是从几个方面按照自己的口味点:

(1)甜度(sweetness level)

regular sugar 全糖 > less sugar 四分之三糖> half sugar 半糖> quarter sugar 四分之一糖 > sugar-free 无糖

(2)冰块量(amount of ice)

regular ice 正常(常规冰量)> half ice/easy ice 少冰 > no ice/ice free 去冰
